September Science Connections at TOG

Sep 17, 2025

Join us at The Old Gallery in Allenspark to hear about current environmental research happening in Rocky Mountain National Park!

This month’s talk: Long-term patterns in stream temperature and hydrology: Rocky Mountain National Park in a national context – Rocky Mountain National Park is home to hundreds of miles of streams that provide necessary cold-water habitat to native wildlife. In this talk, we will explore how these streams are changing, how these changes relate to trends across the National Park Service network, and what factors might help some streams resist stream temperature change more than others.

Presented by Theo Kuhn, PhD candidate at University of Colorado – Boulder and Rocky Mountain Conservancy’s 2025 Bailey Research Fellow

Tuesday, September 16, at 6:00pm at The Old Gallery, 14863 CO-7, Allenspark, CO
