Guided Hike for Families – Twin Owls

Join us for a fun-filled family hike to Twin Owls in beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. Get ready to explore nature, breathe in fresh air, and create lasting memories with your loved ones. This kid-friendly event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels, so bring the whole family along! Discover the wonders of the outdoors as we hike through scenic trails and admire the breathtaking views. Who: Kids ages 5 & up with their families. (Younger children in kid-carriers are also welcome.)
What to Bring:
- Warm winter layers, including a winter hat and gloves or mittens
- A day pack
- Plenty of water (at least 2 L)
- High energy snacks
- Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
- Micro spikes may be helpful if there has been recent snow. Micro spikes can be rented from various outfitters in Estes Park, including Kirk’s Fly-Fishing, Scot Sports, The Estes Park Mountain Shop, YMCA of the Rockies, etc.
Where: Meet at the Estes Park Visitor Center at 500 Big Thompson Ave, Estes Park, and travel together into Rocky Mountain National Park in the Conservancy’s vehicle
