Snowshoe Hike: Gem Lake
Mar 27, 2025
Join us for a scenic snowshoe hike to the breathtaking Gem Lake!
This moderate trail winds through unique rock formations and ponderosa pine forests, leading to the picturesque, frozen Gem Lake nestled high above Estes Park. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the snow-dusted valley below and learn about the area’s geology, winter ecology, and local wildlife from our knowledgeable guide. This hike is ideal for those seeking a bit of a challenge and a rewarding winter adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park’s rugged beauty.
