Volunteer in RMNP: Invasive Plants

Jun 18, 2025

Free

Spend the day helping preserve Rocky’s native vegetation by removing invasive plant species by hand!

Managing invasive plants in Rocky Mountain National Park is a perennial issue. These species can threaten native plants and the wildlife that rely on them for habitat and food. Through hands-on manual control methods, you can play a vital role in restoring the natural balance of the park. Work alongside park staff and learn how to identify these species along with proper removal techniques. Working together, we can lend a hand to our native vegetation and help stem the tide of these invasive plants from taking over our park. Help us to protect biodiversity in Rocky Mountain National Park and promote ecosystem health by removing these invasive species!
