Join us for an evening of learning as we discuss important tips and tricks for staying safe and having fun while hiking in the winter. This free program is open to everyone and is recommended for ages 12 and up.

About Your Instructor:
Katie Colson is the Education Coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Conservancy. She is a Wilderness EMT and a member of the Rocky Mountain National Park Search and Rescue team. Katie has completed AIARE Level 1 and Companion Rescue avalanche courses and has experience in guided ice climbing, mountaineering, and backcountry skiing.
Bringing a laptop or smartphone with you that can access digital mapping apps or websites is encouraged but not required. WiFi will be available at the Library.
