The moose is predominantly found on the wet side of Rocky Mountain National Park, with bulls weighing 800-1200 pounds and cows weighing about 600-800 pounds. These solitary animals are at home in the water, submerging for 3-4 minutes and swimming for miles, with the ability to close their wide nostrils tight under water.
