Join Rocky Mountain Conservancy and Rocky Mountain National Park for a volunteer project in honor of September 11th. On this National Day of Service and Remembrance, the Conservancy will be supporting Rocky Mountain National Park’s Wildland Firefighters by hosting a volunteer project with the fire fuels reduction team.Volunteers will help wildland firefighters manage fuels in front country areas surrounding roads, trailheads, campgrounds, and the neighboring communities. This critical work helps protect firefighters from unnecessary hazards while managing wildfires and mitigates risk of wildland fires affecting nearby towns.After the volunteer work, the Conservancy will provide volunteers for coupons to Rock Cut Brewing Company.Who: Volunteer must be able to hike up to a mile and lift/carry up to 20 lbs across uneven terrain (Volunteers must be at least 16 years old).

When: Tuesday, September 11th from 9AM-1PM
