b'Planting Seeds for the FutureFIELD INSTITUTE PROVIDES TUITION-FREE CLASSES FOR KIDSThe Field Institute program continued to offer classes and hands-on learning experiences in Rocky Mountain National Park. In 2018, the Conservancy made nearly all its kids classes tuition free. The Field Institute also served a variety of audiences on park-related topics, with a total 308 classes/tours offered to 6,697 participants. An additional 73 outreach programs with 3,953 participants were held, which translates into broader public reach through custom programs.JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM Rockys Junior Ranger program continues to excite and engage young people with park wildlife, flora and outdoor ethics. In 2018, more than 230 formal programs were offered to almost 6,000 participants. The Conservancy funds the printing of the Junior Ranger activity booklets, as well as the production of badges through the Next Generation Fund. In 2018, more than 41,000 Junior Ranger books were distributed, with more than 21,500 badges awarded.
