Field Institute Refund Policy

We work hard to ensure that you love learning in the Rockies. But in case something happens and you can’t attend your Field Institute program, below is our refund policy.

 

Field Institute Course Refund and Cancellation Policy:

For each registration, there is a $50 nonrefundable fee. If you choose to cancel your registration any time prior to 14 days before the course begins, you are eligible for a full refund, less the $50 fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the course will not be refunded. Special consideration for a refund may be given in extenuating circumstances.

If you choose to cancel your registration, you may transfer your registration fee to another Field Institute course whose start date is within 60 days of your original course. Registration transfers are subject to availability.

Should the Field Institute cancel a course due to weather or instructor availability, every effort will be made to place the participant in another similar course. If a similar course is not available, a full refund will be given.

 

Bus Tour Refund and Cancellation Policy:

 For each reservation, there is a $25 nonrefundable fee. If you choose to cancel your reservation any time prior to 7 days before the tour date, you are eligible for a full refund, less the $25 fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour date will not be refunded. Special consideration for a refund may be given in extenuating circumstances.

If you choose to cancel your reservation, you may transfer your fee to another tour date within 10 days of your originally scheduled tour. Reservation transfers are subject to availability.

Should Rocky Mountain Conservancy cancel a tour due to weather or guide availability, every effort will be made to place the participant on another tour. If another tour is not available, a full refund will be given.
