September 11th: National Day of Service and Remembrance

Join Rocky Mountain Conservancy and Rocky Mountain National Park for a volunteer project in honor of September 11th. On this National Day of Service and Remembrance, the Conservancy will be supporting Rocky Mountain National Park’s Wildland Firefighters by hosting a volunteer project with the fire fuels reduction team.

Volunteers will help wildland firefighters manage fuels in front country areas surrounding roads, trailheads, campgrounds, and the neighboring communities. This critical work helps protect firefighters from unnecessary hazards while managing wildfires and mitigates risk of wildland fires affecting nearby towns.

After the volunteer work, the Conservancy will provide volunteers for coupons to Rock Cut Brewing Company.
