RMNP Partnership Positions

Diversity Internship Cohort Programs Assistant

The Internship Coordinator Assistant will work as a Rocky Mountain Conservancy staff member and work directly as a part of the RMNP Continental Divide Research Learning Center (CDRLC) team. The Internship Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of the Rocky Mountain National Park Diversity Internship Cohort Program with support from this assistant position. Conservancy Cartographic Technician

This project supports the GIS program in Rocky Mountain National Park. This position is intended to support the park GIS Specialist, who gives technical oversight and direction. Technician work is typically associated with and supportive of a professional field including data management, field collection, and use of other GIS products. Conservation Corps Crew Leader – (Application closes January 27th, 2023)

The Crew Leader position is integral to the Rocky Mountain Conservancy’s Conservation Corps. The Crew Leader helps accomplish the Conservancy’s goals of cultivating a welcoming environment for crew members, supporting crew member development, communicating directly with agency partners, submitting weekly project reports and photographs, and fostering a conservation ethic among their crew. The Crew Leader leads a crew of 4 to 6 Crew Members, and is responsible for the crew’s safety and teamwork during each project.

Crew Leaders earn $540 per week as well as a 450-hour Americorps Education Award. Crew Leader training begins May 17.

Conservation Corps Crew Member – (Application closes March 10th, 2023)

Crew Members must be able to work and live in close proximity with a team of 5-6 others for 11 consecutive weeks. Successful Crew Members are communicative, independent, and able to live and work outdoors in various weather conditions. They are responsive to instructions and feedback, and are genuinely interested in learning from supervisors, agency partners, and fellow Crew Members.

Crew Members earn $440 per week along with a 300-hour Americorps Education Award. Crew Members arrive May 31.

Retail Clerk – Full-time; part-time; year-round

This position is responsible for operating retail sales visitor center stores managed by the Rocky Mountain Conservancy, and assisting Rocky Mountain National Park staff with providing information to the public. Retail Clerk Kawuneeche Visitor Center – Full-time; part-time; seasonal
