RMNP Partnership Positions

Scholar-in-Residence – June 1 – October 1, annually

The Scholar-in-Residence program is inspired by the Artist-in-Residence program in Rocky Mountain National Park. This program follows the tradition of connecting scholarly and scientific experts in their field to the community and educational programming in our National Parks. The Scholar-in-Residence works with Rocky Mountain Conservancy’s Field Institute and the Continental Divide Research Learning Center at Rocky Mountain National Park. Please review the position description, and if interested, submit your research proposal application to Lisa Cowart Baron, CDRLC Research Coordinator, via email at lisa_baron@nps.gov with the subject ‘2023 Scholar in Residence Proposal’. Proposals are due annually before April 15th.

High School Leadership Corps

The Rocky Mountain Conservancy is excited to announce the High School Leadership Conservation Corps will host two sessions in 2023. This unique program will provide incoming or currently enrolled high school students (under the age of 18) with an immersive experience in Rocky Mountain National Park. Youth will participate in service-learning projects, development opportunities, and educational programming. The Conservancy hopes this experience will advance the understanding of the natural world, promote professional growth, and foster civic engagement in the next generation of public land stewards.

Philanthropy Department

Director of Philanthropy

The Director of Philanthropy creates, executes, and evaluates the Rocky Mountain Conservancy’s individual, foundation and corporate giving strategies with a donor-centered philosophy to ensure a diverse and sustainable revenue portfolio to support the organization’s mission. The Director of Philanthropy works closely with the Executive Director, Philanthropy Department staff, and the Board of Directors to develop and execute an effective fundraising and membership plan that secures contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and through special donor events. Nature Stores Retail Department

Retail Clerk – Full-time; part-time; year-round

This position is responsible for operating retail sales visitor center stores managed by the Rocky Mountain Conservancy, and assisting Rocky Mountain National Park staff with providing information to the public. Retail Clerk Estes Park Visitor Center – Full-time; year-round

This position is responsible for operating the retail store managed by the Rocky Mountain Conservancy within the Town of Estes Park Visitor Center and assisting assigned Town of Estes Park staff in providing information to the public. Warehouse Worker (with driving) – Part-time; year-round

This is a driving eligible position that performs several duties aimed at ensuring that the operations of the warehouse are run safely and smoothly. This includes making sure the flow of merchandise is handled effectively, receiving goods, and ensuring they are properly priced, and delivered to stores.
